Welcome to Azady Soap. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and the purchase of products from us. Please read them carefully. By visiting our website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of this website immediately.
By accessing azadysoap.com (the "Site") or making a purchase, you enter into a binding agreement with Azady Soap ("we," "us," or "our"), a North Carolina–based artisan soap business. These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use the Site.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
You must be at least 18 years of age to make purchases on this Site. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction to form a binding contract, and that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including if we believe a user is under the required age or has provided false information.
You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Site. You are expressly prohibited from:
Using the Site for any fraudulent, unlawful, or malicious purpose;
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, our servers, or any connected systems or networks;

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your access and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement authorities.
All content on this Site — including but not limited to the Azady Soap name, logo, brand identity, product names, photographs, graphics, illustrations, written descriptions, formulas, recipes, and all other creative materials (collectively, "Content") — is the exclusive intellectual property of Azady Soap and is protected under applicable United States copyright, trademark, trade dress, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site and its Content solely for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include:
The right to reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any Content;
The right to use any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering or extraction tools;
Any use of the Content for commercial purposes or public display without our prior written consent.
Any unauthorized use of the Content may give rise to a claim for damages and/or may constitute a criminal offense. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by Azady Soap.
Trademark Notice: "Azady Soap" and associated logos are trademarks of Azady Soap. Unauthorized use of our trademarks is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible. However, colors displayed on your screen may vary depending on your device’s display settings, and we cannot guarantee that your device’s color reproduction exactly matches our products.
All product descriptions, ingredient lists, weights, and measurements are provided in good faith, but minor variations may occur between batches due to the handmade nature of our artisan products. Slight variations in color, texture, and scent are inherent to natural, handcrafted soaps and are not considered defects.
We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or modify product formulations without notice. We are not liable for typographical errors or inaccuracies in product descriptions, pricing, or availability.
Ingredient Transparency: Full ingredient lists are provided for all products. It is your responsibility to review all ingredients before purchase or use, particularly if you have known allergies or sensitivities. We strongly recommend performing a patch test before using any new soap or skincare product. Azady Soap is not responsible for allergic reactions or sensitivities resulting from failure to review ingredient information.
All prices on this Site are listed in United States Dollars (USD). Applicable sales taxes will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on your shipping address and local tax requirements.
We accept the following payment methods:

All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways. We do not store your full payment card information on our servers.
By submitting an order, you authorize us to charge the payment method provided for the full order amount, including applicable taxes and shipping fees. Orders are not confirmed until payment is successfully processed. We reserve the right to cancel any order if payment cannot be verified or is declined.
Fraud Prevention: We reserve the right to cancel and refund orders that appear fraudulent or suspicious, without obligation to provide further explanation.
We currently ship to addresses within the contiguous United States. International shipping availability and rates may be listed separately at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance for international orders.
Processing Times: Because each product is handcrafted, please allow 2–5 business days for order processing before shipment. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day.
Estimated Delivery: Standard shipping typically takes 5–8 business days once your order has shipped. Expedited shipping options, where available, will be displayed at checkout with their associated costs and estimated delivery timeframes.
Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order weight, dimensions, and destination. Free shipping promotions, when offered, are applied automatically and are subject to minimum order thresholds.
Lost or Damaged Shipments: Once an order is handed off to the carrier, title and risk of loss transfer to you. We are not liable for packages lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. However, we will make reasonable efforts to assist you in filing a claim with the carrier. Please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date if you believe a package is lost.
If your order arrives visibly damaged, please photograph the damage before opening, retain all packaging materials, and contact us at info@azadysoap.com within 48 hours of delivery.
Due to the personal care nature of our products and the handmade artisan process, we are unable to accept returns on opened or used items for health and safety reasons.
Unopened Items: Unopened, undamaged products in their original packaging may be eligible for a return within 14 days of the delivery date, subject to our approval. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned item in satisfactory condition.
Defective or Incorrect Items: If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us at info@azadysoap.com within 7 days of delivery with a description and photographs of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at our discretion, including return shipping costs where applicable.

Azady Soap warrants that its products are handcrafted with quality natural ingredients and are manufactured in accordance with good cosmetic manufacturing practices. Each product is made to meet the ingredient composition and quality standards described on the product page at the time of purchase.
Our products are sold with a limited warranty covering material defects in manufacturing for a period of 30 days from the date of delivery. This warranty does not cover:
Normal batch-to-batch variations in color, fragrance, or texture that are characteristic of natural, handmade products;
Damage caused by improper storage, exposure to excessive heat, moisture, or sunlight;
Allergic reactions or skin sensitivities;
Products that have been opened or altered.
THIS WARRANTY IS PROVIDED IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WHICH ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
As-Is Basis: This Site and its Content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, free of viruses or other harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.
Content Accuracy: We strive to ensure that all information on this Site is accurate and current. However, we do not warrant that the Content is complete, reliable, accurate, or error-free. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and to update Content at any time without prior notice, including after an order has been submitted.
Not Medical or Dermatological Advice: Any information about ingredients, skin types, or product benefits is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended as medical advice, and should not replace the advice of a qualified dermatologist or healthcare professional.
Patch Test Recommendation: We always recommend performing a patch test by applying a small amount of product to the inner wrist and waiting 24 hours before full use.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AZADY SOAP, ITS OWNER(S), EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THIS SITE OR THE PURCHASE OR USE OF OUR PRODUCTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses;
Personal injury or property damage resulting from your use of our products;
Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or transmissions;
Any other matter relating to the Site or our products.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within thirty (30) days, you agree that it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), with arbitration conducted in North Carolina. Each party shall bear its own arbitration fees and costs unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights, trade secrets, or confidential information.
YOU AND AZADY SOAP AGREE THAT ANY CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER WILL BE BROUGHT IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY ONLY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
